Join us for a grounding and restorative evening of yin yoga, meditation, music, and connection as we welcome the changing of the seasons and the introspective energy of Autumn and the Metal Element. This is our call into a season of reflection, release, and clarity.
You’ll be guided through a 60-minute yin yoga practice with breathwork and meditation led by Sylvie Lamothe, accompanied by the live acoustic music by Carlea Luxton. Sink into long-held postures as Carlea’s music creates space for reflection, introspection, and soulful resonance.
This session is designed to help you slow down, release what no longer serves, and reconnect with your inner rhythm, supporting the energetic pathways (meridians) of the lungs and large intestine in alignment with the Metal Element of fall.

As the leaves turn and the air cools, nature invites us to root down and let go, making space for what truly matters. This semester, we’ll travel through the seven chakras, starting with the stability of the root and rising toward the spacious freedom of the crown.
This Yin Yang Yoga immersion is a guided journey to explore the chakra through mindful movement, stillness, breathwork, meditation, and reflection. The yin portion of the practice offers deep stillness to nourish the connective tissues and invites introspection, while the yang portion builds warmth, strength, and balance.
This is not only a stretch class; it’s a holistic experience where you’ll learn about each chakra’s qualities, imbalances, and how to bring harmony to your mind, body, and spirit. You’ll leave each session feeling grounded, clear, and revitalized, with insights you can carry into daily life.
What to expect from each session:
Who is this immersion for?
The curriculum for each week:
This immersion is designed for all levels. While Yin’s long-held stillness is often perceived as a practice for seasoned practitioners who have explored their inner world, you will be guided and supported in discovering the practice at your own pace.
